The Sunshine Blues
A girl reads under a protective tree
The sun beats down its rays of heat
The girl oblivious to the love by the shade
Sits anticipating the next page
The sun shines, oh, but she doesn't see
She's to busy ignoring me
My warmth gives her many beautiful things
The blossomed flowers shine of finer things
"Sunshine, Sunshine in the sky
Oh, it's so hot I want to cry
Can't you stop tormenting me
I swear I'm dying of heat"
I give her the light for her to read
Like I said, she doesn't see
She doesn't see me
I am infinity.

Published Poem by www.Poetry.com
I have a few Published Poems from www.Poetry.com. It is an International Contest where thousands of submissions are received and a few are put into a Yearly Anthology and of the Anthology less than twenty are put on the yearly CD or the mini-books they create. I have been on two CD's and One Mini-Book besides the Anthologies and Nominated as Poet of the Year Yearly. I have gone to Washington D.C. only once attending one Nomination and receiving Award Recognition and Medallion.
I have volumes of unpublished poems I have written, writing my first poem in third grade which is on one of the CD's (One Candle). I also was Awarded a Member of Stratmore's Who's Who from an anonymous source for my acheivements and skills submitted from my poetry. I absolutely love writing and look forward to any possible income that will arise in the future. This is one of the published poems from this company.
